A. Heather Jack passed away at home, on Plum Island, on Sept. 9th at the age of 49. Heather was born and raised in Melrose, lived most of her life in Melrose, summered on Plum Island & wintered in Vero Beach, Florida for the past 9 years. Heather worked at Opportunity Works in Newburyport for the past 10 years and had previously worked for EMARC in Wakefield. She enjoyed music, dancing, horseback riding and was involved with Special Equestrians in Vero Beach, FL. She was the daughter of the late George A. & Alice (Tebeau) Jack. Sister of James A. Jack & his wife Katherine of Reading, Nola A. Bennett & her husband Jack of Plum Island and Douglass M. Jack & his wife Jane of Windham, NH. Also survived by several nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews and 1 great grand niece. Funeral services will be held at the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St. Melrose, on Tues. Sept. 14th, at 10AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Monday 4-8 PM. Burial in Wyoming Cemetery Melrose.
