Alfonso D. "Al" Sisneros passed away on Saturday morning, March 15, 2008, by a car accident in Melrose. He was 25 years old. Al was born in New Mexico, raised in Melrose, graduated from Melrose High School, Class of 2001, where he played basketball. He attended the University of Massachusetts, Salem State College and was presently working on his degree at the University of New Mexico. Alfonso was a hard working good kid with a big heart. He worked for the RJ Kelley Construction Company, was one of the youngest district managers for Showcase Cinemas in Woburn and had been working the past year as a manager for the Village Inn Restaurants in Albuquerque, NM. Al loved his New England sports teams; Red Sox, Celtics and Patriots, he loved music, cooking, going to the gym and spending time with his family & friends. Beloved son of Laura (Hernandez) Sisneros Reich & Robert A. Reich of Melrose and Harold Sisneros & his wife Carla of NM. Loving brother of Mellissa Romero & her husband Randy, Tessa Reich, Cameron & Jeremy Sisneros, Stephanie Wallace and Adam Heath. Adored grandson of Clementine Reich & her late husband Alois, Patsy & Rudy Sisneros and the late Pablo & Emilia Hernandez. Uncle of Natalia, Mya, Julian, Camille, Leroy & Charles. Also survived by numerous, aunts, uncles, cousins & friends. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St. Melrose, on Wed. March 19th, at 8AM. Funeral Mass in St. Mary's Church, Herbert St. Melrose, at 9AM. Relatives & friends invited. Visiting hours Tuesday 4-8PM. Interment in Wyoming Cemetery Melrose.
