Alfred A. Filadoro passed away at the Woburn Nursing Center, on September 11, 2006, he was 97. Alfred was born and raised in Revere, graduated from Revere High School and the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy. He owned Filadoro Pharmacy in Revere for over 40 years, was a member of the Massachusetts Pharmacy Association, a longtime member Incarnation Church in Melrose & Most Blessed Sacrament Church in Wakefield. Alfred lived in Melrose for 30 years, Wakefield for 20 years, a few years in Reading and summered in Meredith, NH for over 20 years. Mr. Filadoro enjoyed traveling with his wife Mary and gardening. He was the husband of the late Mary T. (Ago) Filadoro. Father of Paul R. Filadoro & his wife Ellen of Mashpee and the late Alfred E. Filadoro. Grandfather of Richard P. Filadoro & his wife Linda of Lynnfield, Robert A. Filadoro & his wife Tanya of Windham, NH & Christopher P. Filadoro & his wife Katie of Chelmsford. Great grandfather of Dante, Julian & Dario. Also survived by several nieces & nephews. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St. Melrose, on Thurs. Sept. 14th at 9AM. Funeral Mass in The Most Blessed Sacrament Church, 1155 Main St. Wakefield, at 10AM. Relatives & friends invited. Visiting hours Wed. 3-7PM. Interment in St. Joseph Cemetery in Lynn.
