Alice M. Connors, 64, died at Concord Hospital, Concord NH, Friday after a brief illness. Born and raised in Gloucester, she graduated from St. Ann, s High School class of 1957. Alice was an employee of Boston Gas in the Payroll Dept for 24 yrs and retired in 1998. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary, Harold O. Young VFW Post # 2394, Melrose and St Marys Church. Wife of the late Richard L. Connors Jr. Mother of Stephen R. Connors & his wife Jessica (Trela) of No. Andover. Grandmother of Faith Anne and Norah Connors. Sister of Peter A.Burns & his wife Paula of Gloucester. Aunt of Raymond and Alicia Burns. Special companion of Joseph Lee of Melrose. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W Foster St. Melrose, on Wed Sept 15th, at 8 AM. Funeral Mass in St Marys Church, corner of Myrtle & Herbert Sts., Melrose, at 9 AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Tues 48 PM. Burial will be in Puritan Lawn Cemetery Peabody.
