Alice M. (Clark) Day passed away at Melrose Care Center on Thursday Nov. 27th at the age of 89. She was born in Malden, raised in Malden and graduated from Malden High School. She was a homemaker, lived in Allston for a few years and Melrose for over 60 years. Alice was a member of St. Mary's Church in Melrose and the St. Mary's Ladies Sodality. She was the beloved wife of the late James A. Day. Devoted mother of James K. Day of Melrose, Stephen C. Day & his wife Judith of Stoneham, Thomas L. Day & his wife Louise of Haddonfield NJ, Charles G. Day of Melrose, Douglas F. Day & his wife Katherine of Hopkinton and Gregory G. Day & his wife Linda of Lynn. Loving sister of Mary Vaughn of Melrose, John B. Clark of FL and Richard Clark & his wife Jane of VA. Grandmother of Christopher, Danielle, Michael, Patrick, Andrea, Jared & Courtney. Great grandmother of Lucas & Zachary. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St. Melrose on Tues. Dec. 2nd at 8AM. Funeral mass in St. Mary's Church, Herbert St. Melrose, at 9AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Monday 4-8PM. Burial in Wyoming Cemetery Melrose.
