Alice E. (Fitzpatrick) Paleo died after a long illness at Winchester Hospital March 16th at the age of 78. Alice was born in Medford, raised in Medford, graduated from St. Joseph's Grammar School & Medford High School. She lived in Somerville for a few years and most of her life in Melrose. Alice worked for the Melrose School Dept. for 10yrs in the Melrose High School Cafeteria and had been a longtime member of Most Blessed Sacrament Church in Greenwood. She was the wife of the late Peter J. Paleo. Mother of Patricia A. Paleo of Lawrence, John P. Palleo & his wife Susan of Plaistow NH, Janice M. Paleo of Methuen, Robert J. Paleo of Quincy and Christopher D. Paleo of Groton. Grandmother of Kristen, Michael and Erika. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St. Melrose on Tues. March 19th at 9AM. Funeral mass in The Most Blessed Sacrament Church 1155 Main St. Wakefield at 10AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Monday 4-8PM. Burial in Wyoming Cemetery Melrose.
