Almon W. "Al" Wooldridge, of Peabody, died at the Melrose Wakefield Hospital on March 9, 2014 at the age of 76. Al was born in Somerville, raised in Burlington and attended Burlington High School. He resided in Burlington for many years and Sanford, ME for the past 35 years. Al was a self employed Foundry worker for many years in Sanford, ME and will be greatly missed by his family & many friends. He loved to spend his time riding his motorcycle with friends and enjoyed traveling all across the country. He was the devoted son of the late Thomas "Luke" & Mabel (Farnell) Wooldridge. Caring brother of Alice Bowman of Rockland, Roberta Beyer of E. Hampton, Chesley Wooldridge and predeceased by 1 brother and 5 sisters. Father of 4 daughters and 1 son. Cherished uncle of Karen Welch of Melrose, Wayne Petrino of Bridgewater and Rick Petrino of Peabody. Also survived by many nieces & nephews. Funeral services will be private. Arrangements by the Gately Funeral Home, Melrose.
