Obituary

Amelia (Kulaga) DiGiovanni, of Melrose, formerly of East Boston, died at the Massachusetts General Hospital on Jan. 2, 2005 at the age of 82. Amelia was born & raised in Cumberland, RI and was a graduate of Cumberland High School. She resided in East Boston for 44 years and the last 14 years in Melrose. Amelia was a homemaker and also worked as a Clerk for Woolworths Dept. Store in Boston for 15 years. She was the devoted wife of the late Dominic DiGiovanni. Loving mother of Karen Catino & her husband Joseph of N. Attleboro and Linda DeLorey & her husband Stephen of Peabody. Cherished sister of Stella Braley & her husband Edgar of RI & the late Anna Duffy, John, Matthew, Christopher and Stanley Kulaga. Devoted grandmother of Renee Valdyke & her husband Kyle of NJ and Alexander & Zachary DeLorey of Peabody. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St., Melrose on Thursday Jan. 6th at 8AM. Funeral mass in St. Marys Church Herbert St., Melrose at 9AM. Relatives & friends invited.Visiting hours on Wednesday from 4-8PM. Burial in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
