23rd Psalm The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures; he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul; he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for His name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for thou art with me. Thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies; thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever. Fireman's Prayer When I am called to duty, God, whenever flames may rage, give me strength to save some life, whatever be it's age. Help me embrace a little child before it is too late, or save an older person from the horror of that fate. Enable me to be alert and hear the weakest shout, and quickly and efficiently to put the fire out. I want to fill my calling, and give the best in me, to guard my every neighbor and protect his property. And if, according to my fate, I am to lose my life, please bless with Your protecting hand my family, friends and wife. Policemen's Prayer O Almighty God whose great power and eternal wisdom embrace the universe, watch over all Policeman & Law Enforcement Officers. Protect them from harm in the performance of their duty to stop crime, robberies, riots and violence. We pray help them keep our streets and home safe day and night. We recommend them to your care because their duty is dangerous. Grant them Your unending strength and courage in their daily assignments. Dear God protect these brave men and women, grant them Your almighty protection, unite them safely with their families after duty ends. Amen Serenity Prayer God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change. The courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.
