Andrea L. (Cappellucci) Carlin, of East Longmeadow, formerly of Melrose, passed away after a lengthy illness at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers on Feb. 12, 2019 at the age of 41. Andrea was born in Malden, raised in Melrose and a graduate of Melrose High School, Class of 1995. She went on to earn her Sociology degree from North Adams State College, Class of 1999. Andrea resided in Melrose for most of her life and worked as a Sales Manager for Hertz Rent-a-Car for many years. She enjoyed the beach & traveling on cruises and going to the Caribbean. Andrea's girls were the loves of her life and she enjoyed spending her time with them at all their sporting events. Andrea was a very social person and one of the friendliest people that you would ever want to meet. She was the loving mother of Kayla & Ashlee Carlin. Devoted daughter of Daniel & Maureen (Connolly) Cappellucci of Peabody, formerly of Melrose. Caring sister of Colleen Hawes & her husband Mark of N. Andover, Allison Harren & her husband Dan of Reading and Nicholas Cappellucci of Peabody. Also survived by many relatives & friends. Visiting hours will be held at the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St., Melrose on Friday, Feb. 15, 2019 from 4-8PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary's Church, 9 Herbert St., Melrose on Saturday, Feb. 16, 2019 at 10AM. Relatives & friends respectfully invited to attend. Burial in Lakeside Cemetery, Wakefield.
