Andrew Martin Melanson, of North Reading, formerly of Melrose, died on Tuesday, September 22, 2009 at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center of Boston. He was only 35 years old. Born on January 26, 1974 in Melrose to Norman J. & Jean M. (Caprigno) Melanson, he was raised in Melrose and attended Melrose Public Schools. Andrew was a resident of Melrose for 26 years and lived the last 6 years in North Reading. He was a member of St. Mary's Church of Melrose and enjoyed going out for car rides, sitting in the sand at the beach, Disney World and McDonald's Restaurants. He was the loving son of Norman J. & Jean M. (Caprigno) Melanson, caring brother of Robin A. Melanson of Reading & April L. Lyons & her husband Paul of Derry, NH. Special Uncle of P.J. & Abby Lyons of Derry, NH. Also survived by several aunts, uncles & cousins. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St., Melrose on Friday, September 25th at 9:00AM.
