Angelo F. ''Jule'' Velluto died suddenly at Melrose Wakefield Hospital January 14th at the age of 80. He was born and raised in Melrose, graduated from St. Mary's Grammar School and Melrose High School Class of 1940. Jule served in the US Navy as a SeaBee for several years during WWII. He worked as a sales rep. for a couple of steel manufacturers for over 40yrs. Jule worked for Hawkridge Brothers of Malden and Matt MacDonald Co. of Boston during his career. He was the husband of Helen M. (Sokolowski) Velluto. Father of Frank R. Velluto & his wife Paula of Melrose, Stephen M. Velluto & his wife Mary Ann of Redding CT and Susan M. Morales & her husband Foster of Melrose. Brother of Anthony J. Velluto and Josephine LaMattina both of Ft. Lauderdale FL. Grandfather of JuliAnn, Michael, Christopher, Alexandra, Elissa & Marco. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St. Melrose on Thurs. Jan.17th at 10AM. Relatives and friends invited.
