Ann T. (Vuolo) Canzaniello, 71, a long time piano teacher in Melrose died unexpectedly on February 27, 2004 at Massachusetts General Hospital. She is the wife of Joseph 'Tony' Canzaniello. Born in Malden, MA on January 13, 1933 Ann was the daughter of the late Alphonse and Jennie (Cipriani) Vuolo. Raised in Everett, Mrs. Canzaniello graduated from Everett High School, class of 1951, where she was an accompanist for numerous musical productions. She has been a resident of Melrose for 36 years. Mrs. Canzaniello studied piano under the direction of Mrs. Canterbury and voice with Miss Duncanson. She pursued her musical career by studying at Boston University and performed with the Arlington Symphony Orchestra. She also has accompanied numerous recitals and dance programs throughout New England. Mrs.Canzaniello was also a member of the Beethoven Society. Her true love was teaching piano and voice to children and adults, she did so for the past 50 years. Her passion for teaching has inspired many students and touched many lives. Ann was the wife of Joseph A. 'Tony' Canzaniello. Mother of Joanne Hirschfeld & her husband Peter of Norwood and Susan Galluzzo & her husband John of Melrose. Daughter of the late Alphonse and Jennie ( Cipriani) Vuolo. Grandmother of William J. Hirschfeld and Jill Ann Hirschfeld. Sister of Stephen Vuolo of Everett and the late Alphonse Vuolo. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W Foster St. Melrose on Tues. March 2nd at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in the Church of the Incarnation, 425 Upham St. Melrose, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Monday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Burial will be in Wyoming Cemetery, Melrose.
