Ann A. Cincotta, 92, died Sunday morning at Harborside Healthcare Wakefield after a lengthy illness.Born and raised in Marlboro, she graduated from Marlboro High School and Framingham Business School. Ann served in the Navy during WW II in the WAVES. She was a secretary at the VA Hospital in Jamaica Plains for many years and retired in 1971. Ann had been a Melrose resident for the past 30 years. Daughter of the late Angelo and Jennie ( Zanca ) Cincotta. Sister of Bernard J. Cincotta of Melrose,, Jennie Georges of AZ,, Angelo Cincotta Jr of Marlboro, Gloria Pakus of Marlboro and Robert Cincotta of FL and the late Ida Cincotta , Josephine Hawkins and Helen DeNorscia. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St. Melrose on Wednesday April 30 at 10:00 AM. Funeral Mass in St Mary's Church corner of Myrtle & Herbert Sts, Melrose at 11 AM. Relatives and friends invited. There are no visiting hours.
