Ann Marie (Poore) Grover passed away at Bear Hill Nursing Center in Stoneham on January 1, 2024. She was 80 years of age. Ann was raised in Malden, graduated from Malden High School and has been a resident of Melrose since 1960.

Mrs. Grover was a homemaker but also worked for many years at Big A. Sub Shop with her sister for many years and at Melrose High School in the food service area. She loved going to Booth Bay Harbor in Maine for lobster & steamers at the Lobster Connection and loved taking her grandchildren to Old Orchard Beach. Ann was also a great cook and baker and loved entertaining family and friends at her home.

She was the beloved wife of the late Paul R. Grover. Loving Mother of the late Paul R. Grover Jr., Cheryl Donovan & her significant other Stephen Frotten of North Chelmsford and the late Kenneth E. Grover & his wife Margaret Grover of Wakefield. Loving grandmother of Kenneth E. Grover Jr., Nichole Donovan, Katelyn Jones & her husband Andre, Lindsay Macasay & her husband Sam, Zoey McMahon, Stephen McMahon & Emma McMahon. Great grandmother of Dominiq, Jayla, Trevor & Aria. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be held at the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St. Melrose, on Monday, January, 8, 2024 from 4:00-7:00PM. Followed by a funeral service at Gately Funeral Home on Tuesday, at 11:0AM. Burial at Puritan Cemetery in Peabody.
