Ann L. (Kennedy) Kendall passed away at Wingate Nursing Home in Reading on Nov. 12th at the age of 76. Ann was born in Boston, raised in Somerville, graduated from Somerville High School and attended Boston University. She was a housewife and taught adult education classes in the evening at Melrose & Somerville High Schools for 18 years. Ann was a member of the Quincy Yacht Club, the North Shore Irish Assoc, a life member of Peddock's Island Assoc in Boston Harbor and a member of Incarnation Church in Melrose. She was the wife of Wesley A. Kendall Jr. Mother of Shelia A. Martel & her husband James of Winthrop and Sgt. Richard W. Kendall (Melrose Police Dept.) of North Reading. Sister of Richard Kennedy & Patricia Starkey both of CA. Grandmother of Alyssa Taylor & Joseph R. Martel, Robert Joseph & Nicole Elizabeth Kendall. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St. Melrose on Sat. Nov.15th at 9AM. Funeral mass in The Church of the Incarnation, 429 Upham St. Melrose at 10AM. Relatives and friends invited.
