Obituary

Ann R. (Loretti) LaSpesa, of Stoneham, formerly of Melrose, died at the Melrose Wakefield Hospital on April 7, 2011 at the age of 89. Ann was born in Youngstown, Ohio, raised in Malden and attended Malden schools. She resided in Melrose for over 15 years, Wakefield for 10 years and the past 15 years in Stoneham. Ann was a homemaker who loved bingo, Foxwoods and traveling to Cape Cod. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph A. LaSpesa for 45 years. Loving mother of George M. LaSpesa of Melrose and Denise A. Brown of Nashua, NH. Cherished grandmother of Robert E. Brown III & Meredith P. Brown. Caring great grandmother of Autumn H. Thomas. Devoted Sister of Helen Trabucco, Clement Stefanilo Jr., Marie Rega, Nettie Beradino, Barbara Zona and the late Marie Lanzarone, Arthur Loretti, Nicholas Stefanilo, Charles Stefanilo and Shirley Moreschi . Also survived by many nieces & nephews. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St., Melrose on Thursday April 14th at 8:45AM. Funeral Mass in St. Patrick's Church, 71 Central St., Stoneham at 10AM. Relatives & friends invited. Visiting hours on Wednesday from 4-8PM. Burial in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Ann's name to Hallmark Health Hospice, 178 Savin St. Malden, MA 02148 or Children's Hospital, 1 Autumn Street, #731, Boston, MA 02215
