Ann M. (Morganto) Pellegrino, of Melrose, died at the Elmhurst Golden Living Center in Melrose on July 6, 2013 at the age of 68. Ann was born & raised in Everett and a graduate of Everett High School, Class of 1962. She resided in Everett till 1973 and Melrose for the past 40 years. Ann worked as a Flight Attendant for American Airlines for 38 years before her retirement in 2003. She was a member of the Most Blessed Sacrament Church in Wakefield and the Ladies Guild for many years. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, entertaining, and her exercise group. Ann was always fashionable and her grandchildren where very special to her. She loved to travel all over the world, especially Aruba, Spain, Australia, Mexico, Italy and one of her favorite places was Revere Beach. Ann was the beloved wife of Joseph D. Pellegrino for 46 years. Loving mother of Michele M. Murphy & her husband Paul and Joann Pellegrino Klapman & her husband James, all of Melrose. Cherished grandmother of James, Luke, Anna, Grace and Gabriel. Devoted sister of Joseph Morganto & his wife Ruth of PA, John Morganto & his wife Vicki of TX, Stephen Morganto of Malden and Mary Holland & her husband Gerald of Wilmington. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and very dear friends. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St., Melrose on Thursday July 11th at 9AM. A Mass of Christian Burial in Most Blessed Sacrament Church 1155 Main St., Wakefield at 10AM. Relatives & friends respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours on Wednesday from 4-8PM.
