Anna T. (Maccario) Keating passed away at Epoch of Melrose on Sunday October 7, 2013. She was 93 years of age. Anna was born in Stoneham on August 12, 1920 to the late Charles J. & Rose M. (Frasco) Maccario. She was raised in Stoneham, attended St. Patrick School until 7th grade before moving to Melrose and graduating from St. Mary's Grammar School. Mrs. Keating attended Melrose High School and has been a lifelong resident of Melrose. Anna worked for over 20 years For Dolan & Jenner Fiber Optics as an assembler then as a supervisor. She was a longtime member of St. Mary's Church; a member of St. Mary's Ladies Sodality and volunteered at St. Mary's Church Rectory. Anna enjoyed gardening and loved taking trips to Cape Cod as well as the Maine coast. Mrs. Keating was the beloved wife of the late Thomas P. Keating. Loving mother of Charles J. Keating & his wife Lorraine of FL, Marilyn T. MacDonald of Dorchester and Richard J. Keating of NYC. Sister of Anthony Maccario & his wife Maryanne of Stoneham and her late sisters Mary Grace & Lucille. Grandmother of Heidi Gagnon, Kenneth, Daniel, Clare, Christopher, Colin & Catherine Keating. Also survived by 6 great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St. Melrose on Saturday, October 12th at 10AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary's Church, Herbert St. Melrose at 11AM. Relatives & friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Friday from 4:00-7:00PM. Interment at Wyoming Cemetery in Melrose. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's Church, Herbert St. Melrose, MA 02176.
