Anna E. (Doucette) Morgan, of Melrose, formerly of Lynn, died at the Wakefield Center in Wakefield on Dec. 30, 2015 at the age of 97. Anna was born & raised in Lynn, resided in Lynn for over 90 years and the past 8 years in Melrose. Anna worked at General Electric for over 44 years before her retirement and was a member of the Riverettes at General Electric for many years. She enjoyed sewing, knitting and spending her time with her family. At the age of 95, Anna ride four roller coasters at Disneyworld and loved to travel to England, Scotland, Mexican Riviera, Alaska, Canada, the Grand Canyon and Caribbean Cruises. Anna was the beloved wife of the late James P. Morgan, Sr. for 51 years. Loving mother of Paul Morgan, Jr., & his wife Jayne of Melrose. Cherished grandmother of James P. Morgan, III & his fiancé Morgan Paterson of Brighton and Diana Morgan Shrewsberry & her husband Jesse of Manchester-by-the-Sea. Beloved aunt of David & George Wright, both of NH. Visitation will be held at the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St., Melrose on Friday, Jan. 8th from 4-7PM. A Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home on Saturday, Jan. 9th at 10AM. Relatives & friends respectfully invited to attend. Burial in Pine Grove Cemetery, Lynn.
