Obituary

Annette M. Lento (Cacciola) of Melrose, formerly of Revere, passed away peacefully in her home on Sunday morning surrounded by her family. Born in Revere, Massachusetts, Annette graduated from Revere High School, and not long after, she spotted the love of her life, Nick Lento.

The couple married in 1985 and settled down in Melrose. By 1991, Annette had four children who loved being with her all the time. She made the best Italian meatballs and gravy, and had a knack for taking whatever was available in the pantry or fridge and turning it into an unforgettable meal. Something she learned from her mother, Jennie Cacciola.

Annette loved gardening in her yard, studying about nutrition and holistic living, and trying out new recipes to share with her family and friends. Most of all, she loved spending time with her ten grandchildren: Avery, Vivienne, Anthony, Adeline, Rocco, Ivy, Rex, Sadie, Levi, and Aria, and imparting upon them her strong sense of faith and innate joyfulness.

She was and will always be remembered as the best wife, mother, and grandmother one could ask for.

Annette was the beloved wife of Nicholas J. Lento. Dear & devoted mother of Nicholas Lento & his wife Sindy, Peter Lento & his wife Sarah, René Aquilina & her husband Edward "Ozzy", all of Melrose and Joseph lento & his wife Elisa of Manchester, NH. Loving "Noni" of Avery, Vivienne, Anthony, Adeline, Rocco, Ivy, Rex, Sadie, Levi and Aria. Daughter of the late Peter & Jennie Cacciola. Caring sister of Peter Cacciola & his wife Paula of Medford and Paul Cacciola & his wife Sharon of Saugus. Also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives & friends.
