Anthony J. AJ Pepicelli passed away at his home in Melrose on October 27, 2006, he was 65. Anthony was born in Boston, raised in East Boston, graduated from Christopher Columbus High School in the North End, Wentworth Institute & Northeastern University in Boston. Mr. Pepicelli had a 40 year career at NEN/Dupont in radio pharmaceuticals. He has been a resident of Melrose for the past 35 years and always enjoyed his trips to Delray Beach Florida the past 15 years. He was a devoted family man and he loved to eat. Anthony was the beloved husband of Jo-Ann (Ferrera) Pepicelli. Loving father of Lee-Ann Pepicelli of Melrose. Caring brother of Pellegrino Bill Pepicelli, Joseph Pepicelli, both of Revere and the late Frank Pepicelli. Brother in law of Leonard Ferrera & his wife Linda of Peabody, Rita Pepicelli of Revere and Rosemarie Pepicelli of Attleboro. Also survived by one niece & several nephews. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St., Melrose on Wednesday Nov. 1st at 9:00AM. Funeral Service in St. Marys Church Herbert St., Melrose at 10:00AM. Relatives & Friends invited. Visiting hours on Tuesday from 4-8PM. Burial in Wyoming Cemetery.
