Obituary

Anthony F. Pingiaro died suddenly by accident on December 2, 2007, he was 45. Anthony was born in Stoneham, raised in Melrose and graduated from Melrose High School, Class of 1980. Mr. Pingiaro worked as a sheet metal mechanic for the Sheet Metal Workers International, Local #17, for the past 20 years. Anthony has been a lifelong resident of Melrose, he was a talented drawer and loved birds and nature. He was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan and was a sports enthusiast. Loving son of Anthony S. & Mary A. (Bonasera) Pingiaro of Melrose. Beloved brother of Ann Marie Dello Iacono & her husband Fred of Malden and Linda Pingiaro of Somerville. Nephew of Lena Savard of Stoneham. Also survived by several cousins. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St. Melrose, on Thurs. Dec. 6th, at 9AM. Funeral Mass in St. Marys Church, Herbert St. Melrose, at 10AM. Relatives & friends invited. Visiting hours Wed. from 4-8PM. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Jimmy Fund, 10 Brookline Pl. West 6th Floor, Brookline 02445.
