Anthony A. Rinaldi, 66, died at home Wednesday after a lengthy illness. Born in Boston, he grew up in Charlestown and the No.End and attended Charelstown High. Anthony served in the Air Force for 4 yrs in thelate 1950's. He was a repairman for Melo-Tone Vending in Somerville for 40 years and retired in 1998. He was an usher and toke collection at Incarnation Church for many years and was active at the Madona della Cava Festival in the No End since he was a young man. Anthony had lived in Melrose for the past 36 years. He was the husband of Christine ( DeRocco ) Rinaldi. Father of Andrea M. DeMeo & her husband Rick and Lisa T. McLellan & her husband Steven all of Saugus. Grandfather of Sheri, Eric, Nicole and Walter. Brother of Stella Scarinci of Chelsea and the late Rocco Rinaldi. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W Foster St, Melrose on Monday Aug 12 at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in the Church of the Incarnation, 425 Upham St Melrose at 10 AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Sun 4 to 8 PM. Burial will be in Wyoming Cemetery, Melrose.
