Antoinette (Sansossoi) Gallella, 94, of Wakefield, formerly of Stoneham, passed away early morning January 29 at home. Antoinette was a resident of Wakefield for over 60 years. Born in Italy, on July 4, 1910, she came to the United States at the age of 14. She lived in Natick, MA., N.Y. and Stoneham, MA., before residing in Wakefield. She was the devoted wife of the late Thomas Gallella. Loving mother of Francis Gallella of CA., Eileen Athanas and her husband Peter, Brenda Limone and her husband James, all of Wakefield. Cherished grandmother of Michael Francis, Risha and her husband Jack Skinner of Melrose, Christopher and his wife Tracey Zullo and Rayna DePietro, all of Wakefield and Richard and Donna Gallella of CA. Also a Great Grandmother of Carly, Ashley, Colette, Isabella and several others in CA. Her funeral is from the Gately Funeral Home Tuesday, Feb. 1 at 9:00 AM. Funeral Mass at St. Florence Church 47 Butler Ave. Wakefield on Feb.1 at 10:00 AM. Burial is in St. Patricks Cemetery. Visiting hours at the Gately Funeral Home, Monday Jan. 31, 4-8 PM.
