Antoniella (Schena) Pascuccio, of Melrose, died peacefully on October 21, 2016 surrounded by her family; she was 81 years old.
Antoniella was born on February 21, 1935 in Grottaminarda, Italy to the late Gennaro and Nicolina (Petrillo) Schena. She immigrated to the United States at the age of 30, and lived in East Boston before moving to Melrose in 1973. Antoniella was a devoted wife, mother and "Nonna" who cherished her family, especially her grandchildren. She worked as a seamstress for most her life, and for many years at L.R. Moulton and Company in Melrose making custom draperies. Antoniella loved cooking, sewing, gardening, and entertaining. She and her husband enjoyed taking trips to New Hampshire and Florida, and occasionally traveling back to Italy to visit family. She was a longtime member of St. Mary's Church who attended weekly Sunday Mass with friends. Antoniella always had a smile on her face and will be remembered for her genuinity, kindness and patient demeanor.

Loving mother of Tommaso Pascuccio & his wife Annette of Lynnfield, Antonio Pascuccio & his wife Kathy of Middleton and Rosanna Fogarty & her husband Brian of Melrose. Cherished Nonna of Michael, Julianna, Thomas, Adrianna, Brian and Christian. Caring sister of Carmelina Vitale, Raffaele Schena, Antonio Schena and Maria Schena. Also survived by many relatives, nieces, nephews, & friends. Visiting hours will be held at the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St., Melrose on Wednesday, Oct. 26th from 4-8PM. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home on Thursday, Oct. 27th at 8:45AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary's Church, Herbert St., Melrose at 10AM. Relatives & friends respectfully invited to attend. Entombment in Holy Cross Mausoleum, Malden. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to St. Mary's Church, 46 Myrtle St., Melrose, MA 02176.
