Arthur W. Bushee, of Malden, died on Saturday July 10th at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Medford after long illness at the age of 84. Arthur was born in Everett, raised in Melrose and lived the past 52 years in Malden. He was a member of the Teamsters Union Local 25 and worked for several trucking firms in the Boston area. Arthur served in the Navy during WWII and was a former member of the Saugus V.F.W. He was the loving husband of Margaret (Pirie) Bushee. Devoted father of Nancy Noonan & her husband John, Steven Bushee & his wife Kathy, all of Melrose, Diane Carnevale & her husband Paul of Beverly, Robert Bushee & his wife Karen of Malden and William Bushee & Maureen Pomeroy of Salem, NH. Cherished brother of Robert, Francis, George, Edward and John Bushee, Irma Doucette, Barbara Whitford and the late Wilfred, Thomas, Raymond, Freeman, Joseph, & Ernest Bushee and Louise Sheridan. Caring grandfather of Katie & Kim Noonan, Christopher, Alison, Brennan, Fallon and Shannon Bushee. Also survived by many nieces & nephews. A funeral service will be held at the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St., Melrose on Thursday July 15th at 11AM. Relatives & friends invited. Visiting hours on Wednesday from 4-8PM. Burial will be in Forest Dale Cemetery in Malden. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Arthurs memory to the charity of your choice.
