Arthur T. Benoit Jr. of Peabody, died at the Massachusetts General Hospital on Sept. 11, 2007 at the age of 67. Arthur was born & raised in Medford and a graduate of Medford High School, Class of 1958. After High School, he went on to earn a degree from ITT Technical Institute and was the owner of Temp-Rite Heating & Air Conditioning in Peabody for over 30 years. Arthur was very creative and had a love for music, the Red Sox, his dogs, painting, movies, Chinese food and all kinds of electronics. He was the loving father of Jo-Ann Benoit of Naples, Fl and Sheri-Ann Benoit & her husband Andrew of Saratoga Springs, NY. Former husband of Judith Johnson of Bonita Springs, Fl. Devoted brother of Janice Klumb & her husband Dennis of East Troy, WI and Nancy Wickman of Waukesha, WI. Cherished friend of over 20 years, Marie Gonsalo of Malden. Nephew of Helen Connor of Newburyport. Cousin of Jack Cahill of Melrose. K-9 companions, Jake, Luka and K.D. Also survived by many friends, cousins, nieces & nephews. Arthur was the identical twin of Francis Joseph who passed away 67 years ago, finally they are reunited together again in heaven. A funeral service will be held at the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St. Melrose on Saturday Sept. 15th at 10AM. Relatives & friends invited. Visiting hours Friday 4-8PM. Interment in St. James Cemetery, Haverhill.
