Barbara Adams passed away on July 15, 2021 at the age of 82. Barbara was born & raised in Malden and a graduate of Malden High School. She resided in Malden until 2 years ago, when she moved to The Residence at Melrose Station after being diagnosed a year or so earlier with Dementia. She worked at General Electric for over 30 years. Barbara was the loving daughter of the late Hugh and Florence (Ellinger) Adams of Malden. Caring sister to Charlotte (Adams) Caron and her late husband Paul Caron Sr., the Late Hugh Adams Jr., Ernie Adams and wife Arlene, Sister in law to Evelyn (Sparks) Adams. Dear friend of Richard Ellinger. Beloved Aunt to Michael Adams, Peter Adams, the late David Adams and Tommy Adams. Paul Caron Jr., Cindy Caron and John Caron. Great Aunt to Freddie Caron and Toni Marie Caron. She loved her friends & family, her summers in Rockport and traveling the world. Visiting hours will be held at the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St. Melrose on Monday, July 19, 2021 from 4:00-7:00PM. A funeral service will be held at the Gately Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 20th at 10AM. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend.
