On Saturday, November 28, 2020, Barbara Bertell, loving wife and mother, passed away at 67. Barbara was a master of words, a lover of books, and a truly brilliant woman. She was an at-home Jeopardy Champion many, many times over. Many will recall her extraordinary ability to successfully manage and complete incredibly complex projects while working in educational publishing. Her passions included gardening, reading, fishing, and birdwatching. Barbara was also a fantasy football victor several times and always rooted for her beloved Pittsburgh Steelers. She adored her dogs Greta and then Alvin and her grand-dog, Henry. Barbara was preceded in death by her sister, Jackie, in 2002. She leaves her husband Gary Gallini, daughter Carey Ann Gallini Comeau and son-in-law Daniel Comeau, and siblings Bob, Tom, Shelley, Birdie, and Kathy. Barbara has made an incredible gift to the Alzheimer's Dementia community by donating her brain to research.
