Barbara Staffier, of Falmouth, died with her family by her side on July 25, 2026, at the age of 71. She was born in Medford, MA on December 5, 1954, and was raised in Somerville and Medford. Barbara graduated from Matignon High School and Northeastern University. She spent many years working as an educator for the after-school programs in Lexington. Barbara loved spending summers in Falmouth on Cape Cod with her family and friends. That was always a second home for her and her family. She cared for her family deeply and loved spending time with them. She’ll be remembered for her caring smile and sense of humor.

Barbara was predeceased by her parents Paul and Barbara Staffier, her sister Gayle Staffier, brother James Staffier, and her nephew Joseph. She leaves behind her brothers, Paul D. Staffier of Reading, and Attorney David W. Staffier and his wife Mary of Somerville. She also leaves behind her niece Emily and nephew Daniel. And is also survived by many relatives and close friends.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00am on Friday, July 31st, 2026, at St. Raphael Church, 512 High St., Medford. Visitation will be held prior to the mass inside the church from 9:30-11:00am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Stroke Association or to the MSPCA.
