Barbara L. Swan, 64, died Thursday, after long years of disability, at Mass General Hospital , Boston. She was artistic and creative and made wonderful things for her friends and family. She loved dancing and taught ballroom dancing at the Arthur Murray Studios in the 1960's and early 1970's. She lived independently in Bosotn and New York until her late thirty's when she needed help from her family. Despite her problems, she was always cheerful and fun-loving. Barbara was the daughter of the late Theodore P. and Emma S. ( Smith ) Swan. Sister of Charlotte A. Swan of Melrose. Memorial Services, conducted by the Rev Wendy E. Vanderhart, will be held at the Highlands Congregational Church, 355 Franklin St, Melrose on Saturday April 28 at 2 PM. Relatives and friends are invited.
