Battista F. Fred Pezzarossi passed away at Lawrence Memorial Hospital on June 10, 2007. He was 89. Fred was born in Boston, raised in Everett and attended Everett schools. He was a WWII Army veteran. Mr. Pezzarossi owned Louies Barbershop in Everett for over 20 years. Fred has been a resident of Melrose for 47 years: he was a founding member of Incarnation Church and enjoyed playing bocci in his backyard court. Fred was the husband of Thomasina (Ciulla) Pezzarossi. Father of Thomas J. Pezzarossi and his wife Karen of Melrose. Grandfather of Matthew Pezzarossi and his wife Lisa, Susan Valley and her husband Derek (all of Saugus), Amy Hatch and her husband James of Tewksbury and Jennifer Pezzarossi of Wakefield. Great grandfather of Haley, Sydnie, Samantha, Lindsay, Brooke and Jessica. Brother of Zita Caso, Enos Guida, Lena Pagalirulo and the late Mary Bonazzi, Elizabeth Calo, Peter and Warren Pezzarossi. Also survived by several nieces & nephews. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St. Melrose, on Wed. June 13th at 9AM. Funeral Mass in The Church of the Incarnation, 425 Upham St. Melrose, at 10AM. Relatives & friends are invited. Visiting hours Tues. 4-8PM., Burial in Wyoming Cemetery, Melrose.
