Bevely L. Dorman, formerly of Everett, passed away on March 1, 2017 at the age of 66. Bevely was born in Swampscott, MA on July 4, 1950 to Richard & Ruth (Hopkins) Dorman. She was raised in Beverly and Melrose, graduating from Melrose High School in 1968. Following high school Bevely earned a degree in computer science from Suffolk University. She spent many years working for the State of Massachusetts Retirement Board. Bevely went on to open Tax Solution in Everett, she was very proud to own and operate the business for many years. Bevely was the loving sister of Debra Ingersoll & her husband Donald of GA, Mary Laughton & her husband Bob Jr. of Peabody, and the late Cathy (Dorman) Griffin. Beloved aunt & second mother to Loree Burns & her husband Gerry of West Boylston, and Karin Griffin of Rutland. Caring aunt of Billy, Tony, Timmy, Keri, Tracy, and Tommy. Proud grandmother of Sam, Ben, Catherine, and Karli. Also survived by numerous cousins and friends. Visiting Hours will be held on Tues., March 7, 2017 from 4-8 PM at the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St., Melrose. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home on Wed., March 8, 2017 at 9 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary's Church, 9 Herbert St., Melrose at 10 AM.
