Brenda A. (Wentworth) Morneault of Peabody, MA, formerly of Melrose, MA passed away peacefully at Salem Hospital surrounded by her loving family on March 26, 2024. She was 79 years old.

Brenda was born on October 15, 1944, in Lynn, MA to Roger and Mary (Mullen) Wentworth. She was an only child and was raised in Falmouth, ME. She graduated from Falmouth High School in 1962. Brenda attended The Bronx Community College in New York and worked as a Registered Nurse in various health care facilities for many years.

Brenda is survived by her former spouse, John Morneault of Windham, ME and their 3 children, John "Jay" Morneault, Jr. of Wakefield, MA, Erica Savage & husband Steven of Groton, MA, Benjamin Morneault & wife Susan of Windham, ME. Additionally, 6 grandchildren, Michael Savage, Bobby Morneault, Curtis Morneault, Kayla Savage, Dustin Morneault, Marissa Morneault, as well as 3 great-grandchildren, Ambros Savage, Asher Morneault and Theodore Savage.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks for donations be made to the Northeast Animal Shelter, 347 Highland Ave. Salem, MA 01970 to honor her love of animals.

Visiting hours will be held at the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St., Melrose on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, from 4:00PM-7:00PM. Relatives & friends respectfully invited to attend. Interment will be private.
