Brian B. Burns passed away at the Massachusetts General Hospital, on Tuesday, October 15, 2013. He was only 41 years of age. Brian was born in Malden on September 25, 1972 to the late George D. & Janice M. (Corrieri) Burns. He was raised in Melrose, graduated from Melrose High School, Class of 1991 and has been a lifelong resident of Melrose before moving to Stoneham 2 years ago. Brain attended electrical school, has worked for John O'Connell Electrical Company in Natick the past 3 years and in the electrical field for many years. Mr. Burns was a diehard Boston Bruins Fan, enjoyed spending time at his home and like doing home improvement projects. Brian was the son of the late George & Janice (Corrieri) Burns. Brother of Elena Orcutt & her husband Tim of Melrose. Uncle of Kendall & Chloe Orcutt. Companion of Kerrie A. Coll. Also survived by several aunts, uncles & cousins. Funeral from the Gately funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St. Melrose on Saturday, October 19th at 9AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary's Church, Herbert St. Melrose, at 10AM. Relatives & friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours Friday from 3:00-7:00PM. Burial at Wyoming Cemetery in Melrose.
