Brian R. Casterlin of Melrose, died unexpectedly at his home on Tuesday Jan. 27th at the age of 49. Brian was born in Albany, NY, raised in Melrose and a graduate of Melrose High School, Class of 1977. He resided in Melrose, enjoyed cooking and worked as a self employed Welder. Brian was the loving son of the late Bruce L. & Dorothy M. (Uliano) Casterlin. Devoted father of Arianna L. Casterlin. Caring brother of Sue Anne Hayes & her husband Edward of Stoneham, Bruce L. Casterlin Jr. & his wife Maureen of NC, Nancy E. Labriola & her husband Michael of Stoneham and Gary C. Casterlin & his wife Mary of Billerica. Also survived by many nieces & nephews. A funeral service will be held at the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St., Melrose on Sunday Feb. 1st at 2PM. Relatives & friends invited. Visiting hours will be held prior to the service from 12-2PM. Burial will be private.
