Ernest P. Bushee died at Winchester Hospital Feb.7th at the age of 85. He was born in Everett, brought up in Everett and Melrose and has lived in Burlington the past 46yrs. Ernest worked as a pipefitter/gasfitter for Monsanto Chemical Co. of Everett for 44yrs. He was a member of St. Malachy Church in Burlington, a charter member of the VFW in Burlington, a member of the local pipefitters union #537 and served in the US Navy during WWII.He was the husband of Grace K. (Kirmes) Bushee. Father of William Bushee of OK, Kenneth Bushee of Burlington and David Bushee of Nashua NH. Brother of Robert of Wakefield, Francis of Middleton, Arthur of Malden, George of York ME, Edward of Peabody, John of Melrose, Irma Doucette of Melrose, Barbara Whitford of AZ and the late Wilfred, Thomas, Raymond, Freeman, Joseph and Louise Sheridan. Also survived by 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildern. Funeral services will be held at the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St. Melrose on Mon. Feb.12th at 10 AM. Relatives and friends invited.
