Obituary

Carmella C. (Carrabis) Barrasso passed away at the DYouville Nursing Center in Lowell, on Sept. 7th, she was 89. Carmella was born and raised in Everett and has been a resident of Melrose for over 50 years. Mrs. Barrasso was a homemaker and an avid Red Sox fan.Carmella was the wife of the late James V. Barrasso. Mother of the late Carol Ann Murray. Sister of James Carrabis, Anne Infurna both of Melrose, Joseph Carrabis of Manchester NH, Florence Gagliardi of Fitchburg, John Carrabis of Saugus, Alfred Carrabis of Lowell and the late Lillian Riley, Mary DeLeo, Anthony & Eleanor Carrabis. Also survived by three grandchildren, great grandchildren and numerous nieces & nephews. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St. Melrose, on Monday Sept. 12th at 9AM. Funeral Mass in The Most Blessed Sacrament Church, 1155 Main St. Wakefield, at 10AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Sun. 2-6PM. Burial in Wyoming Cemetery Melrose.
