Carol A. (Lane) Shedlow passed away the Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Boston, on Monday, December 15, 2008. She was 66 years of age. Carol was born in Malden, raised in Medford and graduated from Medford High School. Mrs. Shedlow has been a resident of Malden for over 40 years. She worked for the City of Medford Cedar Program for a few years, as a crossing guard for the City of Malden for 6 years and as a traffic supervisor in Malden for a few years. She was a simple person who loved to spend time with her family and friends. Carol enjoyed gambling and her trips to Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun. Mrs. Shedlow was the beloved mother of Bernard Shedlow of Amesbury, Tracy Shedlow of Malden, Melissa McHale & her husband Brian of Saugus and Bernice Roberts & her husband Gary of Medford. Loving grandmother of Thomas, Gary, Amanda, Gary, Nicole, Christiana & Bernard. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St. Melrose, on Friday, Dec. 19th, at 9AM. Funeral Mass in Sacred Hearts Church, 315 Main St. Malden, at 10AM. Relatives & friends invited. Visiting hours Thurs. 4-8PM. Interment in Newton Cemetery, Newton, MA.
