Catherine S. (Johnson) Fitzpatrick, of Melrose, died June 10th at the Harborside Healthcare in Wakefield at the age of 91. Catherine was born in Boston and raised in Malden & Everett and lived most of her life in Melrose. She was a member of St. Mary's Church & the 200 Club in Melrose & a former member of the Hybernian Club. Catherine worked for the H.P.Hood Company as a bookkeeper for over 20 years until her retirement in 1976. She was the wife of the late Gerald A. Fitzpatrick. Mother of Jean M. Hayward of Manchester NH, Madeline C. Runyon of Nashua NH and John G. Fitzpatrick of CA. Sister of Winifred Williams of Everett, Marie Sullivan, Irene Griffin both of Malden, Theresa Carpeneto of Saugus and the late, Francis, Albert, Margaret, John Johnson and Helen Powell. Also survived by 10 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St. Melrose on Friday, June 13th at 8AM. Funeral mass in St. Mary's Church Herbert St. Melrose at 9AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting Hours Thursday from 5-9PM. Burial in Wyoming Cemetery Melrose.
