Catherine D. (Cronan) Gordon died in Falmouth Nov. 15th at the age of 96. She was born and raised in Chelsea and graduated from St. Rose High School in Chelsea. Catherine lived in Everett for over 25years, Malden from 1963 to 1999 and the past 3 years in Mashpee. She was a homemaker and had previously worked for the S.S. Pierce Company operating one of the first computers the company had. Catherine was a former member of St. Joseph's Church in Malden. She was the wife of the late Arthur B. Gordon. Mother of Paul D. Gordon & his wife Dorothy of Melrose and Nancy J. Gordon & her husband Robert J. Nugent of Mashpee. Grandmother of Paul D. Gordon Jr. of Melrose, Michelle Sorrentino & her husband Tony of Saugus, Jeffrey W. Gordon, Christopher A. Gordon both of Melrose and Aaron J. Nugent of Mashpee. Great grandmother of Ava C. Sorrentino. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St. Melrose on Tues. Nov. 19th at 8AM. Funeral mass in St. Mary's Church Herbert St. Melrose at 9AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Monday 6-9PM. Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to St. Jude, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis TN 38105. Entombment in Holy Cross Mausoleum in Malden.
