Catherine Lefebvre died Friday May 18th at Mt Auburn Hospital in Cambridge at the age of 97 after a brief illness. She was born & raised in Greenoch, Scotland, she came to this country through Ellis Island while still a young lady and settled in the Andover area where lived for 20 yrs before moving to Melrose in 1949. Catherine was active in the Melrose Choral Society, the AARP,The Clan Johnson of Andover and the Rockport Women's Lodge of Cultural Activities. She loved music and enjoyed traveling. Catherine was a member of the Cochrane House 200 Club, a volunteer at the Congregational Church and the Thrift Shop in Melrose. She was the daughter of the late Ninian & Susan( Harvey ) MacMaster. Mother of Kathleen Collins of W. Yarmouth, Joan Keohan of Melrose and the late Claire Comeau. Also survived by 15 grandchildren and the late Philip Keohan, 36 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.A Memorial Mass will be celebrated in The Most Blessed Sacrament Church 1145 Main St. Wakefield Tues June 19th at 10 AM Relatives and friends invited.
