Catherine A. (Budden) Mitchell passed away suddenly at Lawrence General Hospital, on January 5, 2009. She was 40 years of age. Catherine was raised in Reading, graduated from Reading High School, Class of 1986 and has been a resident of Andover the past 15 years. She worked as a controller for CMARC Industries of Woburn for over 20 years. Catherine was a loving mother who loved Christmas, and baking for the holidays. She enjoyed going to the nail & hair salons, was an avid reader and liked walking on the beach at night. Daughter of the late Herbert & Mary (Jones) Budden. Survived by her daughter Jessica Mitchell of Andover & her father Brian Mitchell. Caring sister of John Budden of Bartlett, NH, James Budden & his wife Cheryl of Sagamore, Margaret Wilson & her husband William of Billerica, Elizabeth Johnson & her husband Craig of Conway, NH, Lorraine Budden of Reading, Susan McInnis & her husband Jeffrey of Nashua, NH, Joseph Budden & his wife Lauren of Hopkinton, Thomas Budden & his wife Nina of Tewksbury and Herbert Budden Jr. of AZ. Fianc of Joel Fernald. Also survived by several nieces & nephews. A Funeral Mass will be held in St. Athanasius Church, 300 Haverhill St. Reading, on Sat. January 10th at 11:15AM. Family & friends invited. There is no visiting hours. Interment in Charles Lawn Cemetery, Reading. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Catherine's name, for Jessica, to the Mitchell Family Trust Fund, in care of Winchester Cooperative Bank, 19 Church St. Winchester, MA 01890.
