Catherine E. O'Leary passed away at the Epoch Senior Health Care in Melrose on Saturday August 28th at the age of 91. Catherine was born and raised in Melrose, graduated from St. Mary's Grammar School and St. Mary's High School. Miss O'Leary has been a lifelong resident of Melrose as well as a lifelong member of St. Mary's Church. Catherine worked for the New England Telephone Company as an operator for over 40 years. She enjoyed spending time with family, going out to eat and was a member of the N.E. Telephone Pioneers. Miss Leary was the daughter of the late Louis & Catherine (O'Neill) O'Leary. Sister of the late Joseph, Louis, John O'Leary and Mary Montgomery. Aunt of Dorothy Crawford of Danvers & Jean Ramos of Norton. Also survived by several grand nieces & nephews. A graveside service will be held at St. Patrick Cemetery, 120 Elm St. Stoneham, on Wed. Sept 1st at 1:30PM. Relatives & friends are invited to attend.
