Charlotte M. (Adams) Caron, of Melrose, died peacefully on September 7, 2026 at the age of 97. She was born in Malden, MA on September 17, 1928 to the late Hugh and Florence Adams.

Charlotte was raised in Malden; she was a proud Edgeworth neighborhood girl and graduated from Malden High School. She worked at Lewis’s Candy Shop in Malden in her younger years. Charlotte married her late husband, Paul, at Immaculate Conception Church in Malden, and then settled in Melrose to raise their family. She was a member of the Melrose VFW Ladies Auxiliary and worked at Faulkner’s Cleaners in Melrose for many years after her children graduated high school. Charlotte loved dancing, the Red Sox, and spending time with her family.

Charlotte was the beloved wife of the late Paul H. Caron Sr. Loving mother of the late Paul H. Caron Jr and his wife Susan of Melrose, Cindy M. Caron of Melrose, and John M. Caron of Wakefield. Proud grandmother of Frederick P. Caron & his wife Kaitlyn of Woburn, and Toni-Marie Caron & her fiancée Johnny Mackenzie of Londonderry, NH, and great-grandmother of Emma, Shaylyn, Avianna, Kennedy Grace, and Freddie Jr. She was predeceased by her siblings Ernie, Hugh Jr., and Barbara Adams.

Visiting Hours will be held at the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St., Melrose, on Tuesday, September 15th, from 4:00-7:00pm. A Funeral Service will be held at the Gately Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 16th, at 10:00am. Interment to follow the service at Wyoming Cemetery, 205 Sylvan St., Melrose. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
