IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Chester "Chet"
Czarniawski
August 11, 1933 – June 30, 2024
Chester "Chet" Czarniawski, passed away peacefully in Peabody on June 30, 2024, leaving behind a void that cannot be filled again, he was 90 years old. Chet was the devoted husband of the late Christine (Weichec) Czarniaswki. The fairy tale began the first time he saw his soon to be wife walking to church, he came home and told his parents that he found the woman of his dreams. They were together forty-three years. Chet was the son of Chester and Bertha (Tuminska) Czarniawski, brother of the late Robert Czarniawski and Maryann Arsenault.
Chet served in the United States Army branch of the military, with the military police in Korea.
Chet was a loving and devoted father to his children and grandchildren. He loved to encourage learning and had great pride in his three daughters, Christina and her husband, Joseph Aubin, Caroline and her husband David O'Brien and Catherina and her husband Steven Jackson.
His five grandchildren were his pride and joy, they brought great happiness to him when they would call or come to visit: Joseph Aubin, Alexandra O'Brien, Sabrina O'Brien Benjamin Jackson and Cynthea Jackson. Their laughter and smiles brought immense happiness to his heart, and he cherished every moment spent with them.
Chet loved to fish.. He learned to fish at a very young age and would teach anyone who wanted to learn. He was always on the hunt for the elusive Stripped Bass. Everyone around him would caught them but him. It was not until his grandson brought him fishing, that he caught is first striped Bass at 70 years old. Who says you should stop trying.
The family has requested that the services be held privately.
In lieu of flowers, Chet's family kindly requests donations be made to a charitable organization that resonates with your heart, allowing for Chet's compassion and generosity to continue helping others.
