Christopher G. Levy, of Melrose, passed away at home on Nov 9, 2022, at the age of 53.

Chris was born in Malden, raised in Melrose and a graduate of Melrose High School. He went on to earn his Criminal Justice degree from Suffolk University. Chris was the only hockey defenseman to be inducted into the Suffolk University Hockey Hall of Fame. He worked for the DCF in Florida for several years and also worked for Second Street Iron & Metal in Everett. Chris resided in Nova Scotia for 20 years and Ocala, FL for 10 years.

He was the devoted father of Shaylyn Levy of Nova Scotia and Kaydyn Levy of FL. Caring son of George & Margaret (Neenan) Levy. Brother of Michael Levy of FL and the late George Levy. Also survived by relatives & friends.

Visiting hours will be held at the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St., Melrose on Monday, November 21, 2022, from 4:00-8:00PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary's Church, 4 Herbert St., Melrose on Wednesday, November 23, 2022, at 11:00AM. Relatives & friends respectfully invited to attend. Interment will be private.
