Claire B. DiGregorio passed away at Melrose-Wakefield Hospital on Sept. 30th at the age of 79. Claire was raised in East Boston, attended East Boston Schools, lived in East Boston for many years and has been a resident of Melrose since 1962. She was a homemaker and did volunteer work at the MacKenzie Nursing Home in Melrose. Claire was the wife of Ruggiero DiGregorio. Mother of Eugene M. DiGregorio & his wife Joanne of Melrose. Grandmother of Roger M. DiGregorio of Medford, Tamara L. Josti & her husband Timothy of E. Brookfield and Dean J. DiGregorio of Melrose. Great grandmother of Cody James Josti. Niece of Blanche Ciccia of East Boston. Dear cousin of Joan Pinelli of Reading. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St. Melrose on Thurs. Oct. 2nd at 9AM. Funeral mass in The Church of the Incarnation, 425 Upham St. Melrose at 10AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Wed. 2-4 & 7-9PM. Burial in Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden.
