Claire E. (Brunick) DiMeo, of Melrose, died at home on July 15, 2005 at the age of 79. Claire was born & raised in South Boston and was a graduate of Gate of Heaven High School & Emerson College. She was a Melrose resident for over 48 years and a member of St. Marys Church. Claire was the owner of the Discovery Workshop Theatre in Melrose where she was a Puppeteer for 10 years. She was also a Drama Teacher and taught acting to many of todays famous actors. Claire was the former wife of Mario E. DiMeo of Melrose. Loving mother of Maria Ria Belanger of Everett, Claire Bee of ME, Mark DiMeo of Melrose, Kenneth DiMeo, Laura DiMeo, Annette DiMeo, all of TX, Dennis DiMeo of Wakefield, Wendy Golini of Melrose and the late David DiMeo. Also survived by many grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and many nieces & nephews. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St., Melrose on Wednesday July 20th at 8AM. Funeral Mass in St. Marys Church, Herbert St., Melrose at 9AM. Relatives & friends invited. Visiting hours on Tuesday from 4-9PM. Burial in Wyoming Cemetery, Melrose.
